Frequently Asked Questions
On the Contact page or below there is a link to fill out a secure form that provides me with your information and reason for seeking therapy. If you plan to utilize insurance benefits, please list your insurance. Once I receive your form, I will reach out! If you have not heard from me in 24 business hours, please feel free to call or email.
I offer both in-person sessions and secure telehealth appointments via a HIPAA-compliant video platform. We can discuss what option works best for you.
Individual therapy sessions are typically 53 minutes long per insurance. Most people begin with weekly sessions, but we’ll tailor the frequency to your needs and goals over time.
Client records and information are treated with the utmost confidentiality. I will only share your information with your written explicit authorization or when required by law. I do my best to discuss any release of your information with you in advance. Generally, safety emergencies are the only exception.
I do not offer sliding fee scale. If this is something you are looking for I can help make a referral.
Unfortunately, I do not write letters for an emotional support animal (ESA). I would suggest speaking with your medication provider or primary care physician.
In the first session, we will complete an intake. This is a chance for us to get to know each other and for me to get an understanding of what brings you into therapy. The second session will be for treatment planning. We set goals for what you want to accomplish so we have a roadmap for our work together.
