Frequently Asked Questions

  • How do I schedule an appointment?
On the Contact page there is a link to fill out a secure form that provides me with your information and reason for seeking therapy. Once I receive your form, I will reach out! If you have not heard from me in 24 business hours, please feel free to call or email.
  • Do you offer in-person or virtual appointments?
Yes! I offer both in-person sessions and secure telehealth appointments via a HIPAA-compliant video platform. We can discuss what option works best for you.
  • How long are sessions and how often do we meet?
Individual therapy sessions are typically 53 minutes long per insurance. Most people begin with weekly sessions, but we’ll tailor the frequency to your needs and goals over time.
  • Do you offer sliding fee scale?
I do not offer sliding fee scale. If this is something you are looking for I can help make a referral.
  • Do you provide letters for an emotional support animal (ESA)?
Unfortunately, I do not write letters for an emotional support animal (ESA). I would suggest speaking with your medication provider or primary care physician.
  • What are the first and second sessions like?
In the first session, we will complete an intake. This is a chance for us to get to know each other and for me to get an understanding of what brings you into therapy. The second session will be for treatment planning. We set goals for what you want to accomplish so we have a roadmap for our work together.
  • What if my question was not answered on this page?
Please contact me by phone or email. I offer a free 15 minute discovery call and am happy to answer any questions you may have.
